RxSight has reviewed the outcome data of Light Adjustable Intraocular Lenses at Claris Eye Surgery and LASIK. They found the results to be outstanding, above the national average. Over 95% of all patients were within 0.5D of a plano distance target. In post LASIK patients the percentage was 99%. Post LASIK patients present a very difficult problem for ophthalmologists to achieve an accurate visual outcome. A Light Adjustable Intraocular Lens provides the opportunity to customize a patient’s vision after implantation in the eye. Patients can now assist in refining their vision and the success rates show its value.
